The John Show

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

John Bardi is a professor of philosophy and religious studies at Penn State-Mont Alto. John spent several years as a child in England and later taught English Literature and Philosophy in Japan, also playing guitar in an all-Japanese (except for him) Blues band while he was there. In the 70s John spent three years on the road as a rock musician. His message (if he has one) is to become informed, enjoy life, and bring kindness, compassion, and love into everyday activities.

John is often asked if he has an alien theme for his show because he believes in aliens. His answer is that while aliens may exist, he is not a big believer personally. He uses the alien theme because it allows him a way to comment on earthly and human things with the apparant distance of objectivity. If he ever has a chance to speak to aliens, however, he won't ask them how their spaceship works but what they believe about God, the purpose of life, and the source of meaning.
